I was also wondering that. I can't imagine, at this point, that any anime release in Japan wouldn't have creditless OP/ED extras, especially since credits change on a per-episode basis, but I guess you never know, especially if the licensee isn't comfortable providing extras for whatever reason

It's a dub produced by Crunchyroll and distributed by Funimation

@Spaceshotx7 said in FUNimation & Giant Ape New Title Solicitations for 2018 (Up to July):
It just seems like some of the Winter 2017 anime releases seem to be pushed back to late summer or early fall this year. Not sure why it would take longer than usual, if its only going to be released with no extras or anything not included in the Simudub.
You would know why it might take longer than usual and you would know that digital extras have no effect on the timing of the release if you read literally anything, ever

RE: FUNimation & Giant Ape New Title Solicitations for 2018 (Up to July)
The order of release largely comes down to the timeliness Japan sends the masters and relevant artwork that can be used for the box sets, but there are a number of other factors at play, such as graphic design and decisions to include pack-ins that can increase the production time
There is close to zero chance that a physical release would be held up by a recording issue. It doesn't make any sense that something which could be done in less than a week would hold up a release for months

RE: Ecchi anime
Studies have shown that the average anime fan reacts more favorably to personification and less favorably to men, so we've decided to give you nothing but ship girls for the foreseeable future

AoA doesn't do dubs while simulcasting. In fact they've only tried one and it was Durararax2.
The new SAO isn't likely for this year.
@Queenira I still would like to know how FunimationNow got the stream rights to Durararax2 on a AofA Title... Still need to watch the later seasons I only was Season one wayyyy back when Season 1 air on Adult Swim. Before Toonami came back.
they probably negotiated a streaming deal, because they got several AoA shows for a few seasons
@Getchman After all that done to Funimation taking there dub titles away I surprise that still even do business for just streaming shows.
Why wouldn't they? It's free money and exposure

Something psyched up = Mob Psycho 100
Something confusing = no idea
Something in the pocket = Death Parade

RE: Why is Sentai Filmworks Still Refusing to dub To-Love Ru?
@Spaceshotx7 said in Why is Sentai Filmworks Still Refusing to dub To-Love Ru?:
I am wondering, how come no matter how many people put in such requests for dubs, Sentai Filmworks still refuses to dub To-Love RU, as well as some other anime like SNAFU or Golden Time? And often those people get ignored by Sentai Filmworks or blacklisted from their social media page?
Presumably because the people who get blocked are the same people who ask the same questions many times expecting a different answer, to the point of harassment and abuse
tl;dr sounds like a personal problem

Alright well I see a little better what's happening now.

April 7th - Timeslot will be a combination of the re-run of the Toonami TIE Countdown Event and Titmouse's animated Scavengers short at 11:30PM. Most likely was going to be waiting for something.

April 14th - Re-run of the original FLCL series at 11:30PM.
@classyspartan So basically we STILL have no new damn programming!
Why do you care? It's not like you're going to watch whatever they announce next

RE: Spring 2018 Anime U.S. & Canada Licenses/Streaming Rights
@Spaceshotx7 said in Spring 2018 Anime U.S. & Canada Licenses/Streaming Rights:
What happened to Pony Canyon USA? they have been licensing stuff produced by Pony Canyon Japan, and they currently are not doing any Home video releases. And out of all the ones they did release on Home video, only Yuki Yuna Is A hero and Kuromukuro got dubbed. I wish other companies besides Funimation would produce more dubs. Until 2008, there were many dubs split between different companies. Since then, Funimation, even to this day has produced about 75% of all the dubs.
Another quality statistic about the anime industry
