The manga storyline essentially stalled after they found Zeno and revealed his backstory, so a second season is a ways off. There hasn't been more than a passing mention of Soo-Won for several chapters. It seems to be picking up now, with some trouble with one of the dragons. (I'm not going to spoil it, so read it yourselves.)

RE: Hello Season 3?
After the arc that's to be adapted to the new OAD, the manga gets rather dark, with a controversial scene and subject matter that wouldn't fit in the "proper romantic comedy" mode promised in the first episode of the first season.
But, hey, never say never.
RE: Kamisama Kiss ova's
Why, oh why, did they only do 13 episodes?
Why tease us with Kirihito/Akura-Oh or the Yukiji/Tomoe backstory and not follow through?
Do TPTB not realize there's 126 chapters to the manga, with more to come?
Why do they always leave us with unfinished products?
Do TPTB know how hard it is for someone 50+ with bad eyesight to have to read the manga for answers?
(yes, all rhetorical questions)
I hope they will eventually bring the series back, this time with at least 24-26 episodes. One can dream, I suppose.
RE: What I got from this show
I watched this sometime back and I have to agree with your assessment. It was a show about bad people doing bad things for bad reasons. There was no honor, no nobility, only cruelty, hatred, and blood. Even the women, who had been victimized and screwed over by these bastards, were, in the end, every bit as nasty as the men.
RE: What anime have you been watching?
I spent the last month powering through "Gin Tama" to prepare for the series' return. Hopefully this time it'll stay on the air long enough to us to see these current (and possibly final?) arcs completed.
I was watching "Phantom," but I heard the ending is a bummer, so may not finish. The episodes up to now were good, but I'm currently not in the mood for a dark ending
My friends and I are also power-watching an anime from the 80's called "Sakigake Otokojuko(?) that someone recommended because I mentioned "Beelzebub." It's a hoot, and now "I am the principal of Sakigake Otojuko, Edajima Heihachi. That is all" is a catchphrase amongst my circle.
Someone mentioned "Bleach." I've also been meaning to re-watch all 366 episodes of "Bleach," but I think I'll wait for a while on the off chance TPTB decide to revive the anime. I've been reading the manga, but the Thousand-Year War Arc is so all over the place, it'll take an anime adaption for anyone to make sense of it, if even then.
RE: Season 2 Discussion
That's what MAL has listed now too. Kind of sad since that means no Tomoe/Yukiji past arc more likely than not, but hopefully we'll get a season 3.
Bummer. We can but hope, since it seems to be fairly popular. Although, the manga does turn a bit dark with some dicey bits, so perhaps TPTB don't want to spoil the "it's a proper romantic comedy" vibe.
RE: Season 2 Discussion
And now Nanami has a new admirer!
The tengu child that wanted to take care of the piglet is so cute. Jiro's a jerk, physical strength isn't everything.
I won't say he reforms completely, but Jiro turns out to be a halfway decent guy, thanks to Nanami. The real villain of the arc, well, you'll see.
RE: Any Anime that you would like to see get a remake or repick up again?
Oh golly, where to start:
- Gintama is an obvious one, but it's coming back, thank God or Sunrise or whoever.
- Bleach is also obvious, as it might be the only way anyone could make sense of the current Thousand-Year-War arc.
- Ouran High School Host Club needs to be picked up again and ended properly (per manga). What the heck was that ending anyway?
- Same with Akame ga Kill - what the heck? Mine is still alive, people!
- Ao Haru Ride ended after 12-13 episodes, with absolutely no resolution in the MCs' situation.
- Wolf Girl and Black Prince ended just as the storyline was heating up.
- The World is Still Beautiful also ended prematurely - Nike's adventures in the Sand Empire would be well worth watching.
- TPTB needs to reboot/repick up of Rurouni Kenshin to cover the remaining manga chapters, including the Kenshin/Tomoe back story.
I would start anyone off with one of Miyazaki's films- for a war buff, I'd recommend The Wind Rises, for a romance/fantasy fan, Howl's Moving Castle.
There's a lot to be said for Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell - those two series are probably what got most viewers into anime and I would still recommend for teen viewers, along with Attack on Titan and FMA Brotherhood. However, my recommended "first" anime for any adult viewer would be Mushi-Shi - it's a masterpiece with nary a false step to be found within the entire series.
