If I remember correctly, it's due to language, some violence (dealing with the Yakuza, Sun's dad) and innuendo. Not really any fan service I can think of.

RE: HIDIVE e-mails?
Now if they would just fix the video player. I'm watching on apple IOS (IPAD) and haven't been able to watch anything this week. Also, I just noticed that HIDIVE doesn't support internet explorer, so my laptop isn't an option yet. I get the HIDIVE screen, but the video portion appears to be off the top of the screen. All I see is the pull down for selecting the language/sub title choices.
I've submitted a ticket, but no joy as yet.
RE: Funimation charged me twice for something I already bought and received
I had the same thing last week. Sent a ticket. Reply was nothing shipped and nothing charged, but still shows as pending. Put in a dispute with the bank. My purchase was back in June. Sent another ticket. Software problem !
Since I posted this, I've been in contact with my bank. Looks like Funi NEVER billed for the order last June, even though I've had the merchandise since then. There is no record of a charge made against my card in that time period. Some body has some explaining to do at Funi. I've heard of late accounts receivable, but if you haven't a clue that you've never billed a customer for an order...that's poor business.
"Our Shop and Billing Departments are currently reviewing older orders at this time. It appears that Order #xxxxxxxxx was not properly updated in our systems to reflect that it had shipped and allow billing to process.
With the updates that were made to your order, a shipment confirmation email was sent in error. A new order is not being shipped to you.

I'll let it slide this time, but only because the bank verified there was no charge to the account for this order since June.

RE: Gosick Announcement
I just watched the first episode here, the dub. Must say I am extremely disappointed. Funimation dropped the ball on this one big time. For those lucky enough to see it on crunchy roll should know what I mean.
I doubt any of the VAs have seen the sub. They lack emotion and they do not do the characters justice. I just see those who have seen the hype, watch it and go.."WTF"?
Hell they can't even pronounce the character names properly.
The first episodes should be setting up the character backgrounds for the darkness to come.

Has anybody seen new information about the latest show times and theater locations?
It is supposed to be out on April 7 and that date is fast approaching.
I signed up for email updates, but nothing so far.
I'd hate to find it has been sold out.
