  • Are you ready for Project Itoh: Harmony? The film drops tonight!

  • I'd be ready but sadly it isn't available anywhere near where I live.

  • So, as good as this movie was, I cannot recommend it for the faint of heart. If you get uncomfortable around the sight of blood, then this movie isn't for you. The film deals with mature, adult themes including over-medication, depression, and suicide. Only see this if you don't mind a darker film that touches on some real issues.

It was still a great science-fiction film with an awesome story, but it wasn't a fun adventure like Empire of Corpses. Just wanted to warn you so that you know going into it what to expect.

Looks like something I will enjoy, I'll check it out when it'll be available on here.

  • I Made the effort to go and see this. It was enjoyable, but not the best effort.

Yes, very mature themes. Usually quite hard to discuss in a meaningful way in todays PC world. They issues were often presented with the appropriate shock value. I suppose for the matters being presented, I thought the way the concept was conveyed was unique. Even a utopia has a price that many will have to pay.

There were several technologies, "enhancements" I thought interesting (Augs). Won't discuss more without a spoiler.

The only negatives I had were that I felt the actors were reaching most of the time. By that I mean the script seemed forced or they were reading from the script for the first time.

And what is with all the pink?! Everything is pink. Buildings, roads and on…Pink maybe a soothing color, but Wow.
I would recommend it, if only because of the limited number of animated works we get to see (that aren't controlled by Disney, etc). I want to thank the studio and funimation for their efforts to get this out to the public. It is too bad that anime isn't accepted as the artform it is by the general public.

I haven't seen the other works by this author, but am interested to check them out. Looks like two other works (Empire of Corpses and Genocidal Organ".

In a future ruled by an unwavering dedication to good health, three high school girls led by the defiant Miach Mihie attempt suicide as the ultimate act of rebellion. Tuan Kirie survives, but can't shake the hatred she has for the perfect world she lives in. Years later, a simultaneous mass suicide rocks the globe and sends society into a state of shock. A small group stands up to take credit for the event, claiming they've hijacked the consciousness of every person on the planet. Everything about the terrorists' message sounds too familiar to Tuan. She suspects her old friend Miach might be involved, but how could that be when she'd supposedly killed herself years earlier? Desperate for answers, Tuan launches an investigation that takes her across the globe chasing the ghost of her old friend. But what is Miach's end game? Will she finally wake the world from its monotonous slumber? Or, end it all for good?
