  • I only have two, technically 6…

Star Wars Original Trilogy Box Set
Star Wars Special Edition Original Trilogy Box Set

The rest melted and fused together in my storage unit here in Texas....those two were the only ones I kept with me because...well they are Star Wars!

  • I still have a few VHS tapes in my possession:

    Star Trek: Generations
    Star Trek: First Contact
From the Earth to the Moon box set (HBO documentary series)
    Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
    Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug
    Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge
Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler
Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!
Dragon Ball Z: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan
    Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound

I used to have a lot of Dragon Ball Z VHS tapes as well, but I threw them away when I bought the Blu-Rays.

  • I collect Videotapes most recently. When I was a kid, I used to have a lot but we got rid of them for DVD. To me, VHS is something that I have memories of watching movies although I have DVDs and Blu-Rays.

  • I still have VHS tapes, but they're collecting dust in storage. I would never choose to buy them or even watch the ones I still have now (we still have a couple of functioning players). Most of the movies and TV shows have since been replaced with DVDs and BDs. The ones that haven't obviously weren't worth it since we haven't felt the need to watch them again in over a decade.

  • I buy VHS tapes from thrift stores and Amazon.com.

  • VHS Collection Update! Number 1

    RoboCop (Orion Home Video)
    RoboCop 2 (Orion Home Video)
    RoboCop 3 (Orion Home Video)
The Nutty Professor (1996) (Universal Home Video)
The Truman Show (Paramount Home Video)

Anastasia (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment)

    Clear Box:
All Dogs Go To Heaven (MGM/UA Home Video)
Ghostbusters (1983) (RCA Columbia Home Video)
Walt Disney's The Importance Of Being Donald (Walt Disney Home Video)
Tiny Toons Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation (Warner Home Video)

    And that's about it.

  • Discussion Question:
What VHS Distributors do you like the most?

  • Ah, VHS…I still have quite a few...though generally speaking, if there's a DVD or Blu-Ray of a film or show, I won't bother with the VHS. That said, it's fun to look back on the past every now and then.

    VHSes I have include...

-Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (also have the steelbook Blu-Ray)
-Star Wars Trilogy: Special Editions (also have the 2004 DVDs)
-Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
    -The Lion King
    -Forrest Gump
-Others I can't recall at the top of my head. :P

  • I probably have a lot from when I was younger, don't know where they went though.
