So, what's your list? Also, feel free to give recommendations.
It's not a video game, it's a tabletop game. Player characters are demigods who inherit fragments of divinity from The Gods and are charged with ruling Creation in their stead. It's game mechanics are dreck, but the lore of the world feels like someone married Romance of the Three Kingdoms to The Ramayana, and gave them some Final Fantasy style magitech for wedding presents.
Players power-up DBZ style when they start showing off their divine mojo.
Warriors hefting giant weapons taller than they are while balancing on treetops.
Ancient humanoid war-machines ripped staight from Escaflowne.
A kung-fu style which lets you punch someone so hard every portrait ever drawn of them will show the bruise.
And enough angry grognards arguing over what is an isn't truly canon to make your average Fate/Stay Night thread on 4chan look civil by comparison.
Praise the Sun.
I'd say Tales of Vesperia and Killer 7
