I recently watched BLEACh and it was awhile since I last watched it. I didn't realize I watched that many episodes of BLEACH until I started to memorized that I've seen the episodes before. The show is still interesting to me.
It's good stuff. I usually recommend skipping the filler episodes on that one, though.
Hmmm, I think I might have skipped some episodes. LOL
I don't watch nor like mainstream Americanized Anime.
I don't mind watching "niche" Animes that may have been Americanized, like Cat Planet Cuties because that's mostly a comedy/fan service Anime anyway, but serious Animes like Dragon Ball Z that are mainstream & Americanized, I don't watch.
Really, I guess it has more to do with the mainstream part, but still…..........What's funny though is I made this same thought comment on Youtube on a "Let's Play" video from a channel I like & a couple of Dragon Ball fanboys proceeded to bust my balls calling me names & using Power Rangers, which I had as my avatar at that time, against me saying Power Rangers is Americanized, well no duh, I mean Power Rangers uses source material from it's Japanese counterpart "Super Sentai", but isn't just a edited localization of it lol.
Anyway, I just sat back & laugh at the fanboys ignorance.
If you need info on "Americanizing" Anime, here ya go.............
I realize it's Wiki & probably not accurate 100%, but it does show proof.
Ah, Bleach. I have such mixed feelings about this series. On one hand, such a neat world and fun characters. Attuning to one's weapon is literally self-exploration? Said weapon is literally a reflection of inner self? Sign me the heck up! On the other hand: ye gods, it just went on-and-on-andon-and-on with the series losing it's strong characterization for the choo-choo train of a plot that dragged itself out. I want to love it, but I just get tired of seeing it go off the rails because Kubo has to dance to his producer's tune if he wants to keep collecting paycheques.
I started it, then made it well into it but fell off (Maybe too much bleach in such a short time) but I Do find myself going back to watch it daily now
