Fate/Saty Night Unlimted Bladeworks (2014) Expected arrival

  • Greetings first Funimation,
Firstly I would like to thank you for the awesome dubbing you guys have done so far.

Now to my concern when are you guys gonna release the Blu Ray sets of Fate/Saty Night Unlimted Bladeworks (2014) ?

It is making me impatient each day,so please answer to my queries

  • Funimation doesn't even own the rights to Unlimited Blade Works

So to answer your question, the expected arrival is never

  • Riles is correct. FUNimation does not own the rights to Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, or any of the Fate franchise whatsoever. The rights to the various Fate series are split between Aniplex of America and Sentai Filmworks.

To answer your question, however, both the original Unlimited Blade Works film and the first season of the recent TV series are currently available on bluray.

The film is licensed by Sentai Filmworks, is dubbed by most of the original cast from the first TV show, and is currently available on bluray for about 30 bucks: http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/WmvvGeP5vu5luQiih-/browse/item/94721/4/0/0

The new TV series, however, is licensed by Aniplex, and as of right now is only available as a subtitle-only import box set containing the first 13 episodes for the absolutely fantastic price of $413.98. Granted, if they treat it anything like they did Fate/Zero, they'll eventually release a dubbed domestic release later on down the line, but it's probably going to be at least a year from now, and it'll still cost you around $120 just for half of the series. http://www.rightstuf.com/cgi-bin/catalogmgr/WmvvGeP5vu5luQiih-/browse/item/104328/4/0/0

    So yeah. :hmm:

  • Thank you for answering SPACEMAN, I didn't know that they didn't hold rights of this series.
I really hope dubbing starts soon though, this Sbaer love is really addictive
