Dubbed episodes this fall

  • I just finished the dubbed episodes of one piece and want more. I checked the schedule but there was no details about when the dubbed episodes will pick up again. I was also curious about Fairy tail. I was wondering is there any details about when favorite shows like one piece and fairy tail will have more episodes dubbed. I am not looking for a specific date just a ball park answer (this fall or winter will be a great plus).

Before I get random answers, I know that funimation does not create the series and I already checked the schedule for answers. I just a curious fan who notice that the thriller bark arc (dubbed version) of one piece will be available dvd in the fall and is now wondering when will it play on the funimation website. Plus ( I guess this is mostly for the mathematicians out there) is there a pattern in dubbing a series (like every six month, etc. )

*Keep up the good work on improving the website and thanks for including funimation on the xbox- I made some of my family members a fan.

  • Amazon's releasing One Piece Season 6 Voyage 1 on September 30th, and I believe everywhere else releases it sometime in November. So the episodes will likely be up on the site in late October at the earliest, but most likely November

Fairy Tail part 12 and 13 are both being released on October 28th, so my assumed release date for those episodes on the site will be October 14th

There's no strict mathematical pattern in releases for a series

  • Has anyone ever looked at the question of how many dubs get made/recorded in a year? I've subscribed to Funimation for awhile, and would guess that the tempo is increasing, and that anime is only getting more popular, so this trend could continue. Question would be when do things get saturated with these long, multi-season series like One Piece or Fairy Tail, at the expense of other stuff. The voice talent can only work so much.

  • @Riles:

For One Piece no, or maybe that's how Funimation does things. But if you look at something like Naruto Shippuden, they pretty much release a new box set every 3 months. Viz might be a little more consistent on how they release releases, but I'm sure every company and even every series is different.

phoebe255fb just look at the wiki pages for the shows as they are fairly correct in release dates and well updated.

  • Hopefully, the new dubbed episodes will start soon.
