R.I.P Bob Hoskins
Today on the forums, we like to have a moment of silence to say goodbye to British actor Bob Hoskins as he was put to rest on tuesday of this week after a bout of pneumonia. At the age of 71, Bob Hoskins was put to rest before our eyes. This thread is to remember Hoskins for his achievements in film such as starring as Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mario in the dreaded Super Mario Bros., which I liked.
He was a great actor. He will be missed.
I'm sure that anyone who talks about Bob Hoskins is going to bring up Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Super Mario Bros. The role of his that stands out to me is his one from Unleashed. Sadly most people probably haven't even seen this movie, because they assume it's just another martial arts/fighting movie.

Are you kidding? It's one of my favorite Jet Li films. So much depth. Hoskins really delivered. In fact he's done so many great small time roles as well.
Enemy at the Gates
Balto (Voice Work)
The list goes on. He will be missed

I did say most people. ~_^
You described the movie perfectly. It has way more depth than other fighting movies. Hoskins played an awesome villain.
R.I.P. Mr. Hoskins
I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit. If I'm correct in guessing that the Super Mario Bros movies you're talking about is the live-action one, that was really good too. I hope he's at peace now. And may the world always remember his awesome work.
I have Unleashed and just never got around to watching it yet - something I'll have to rectify now. I had no idea Hoskins was even in it.
I knew the man best for his turn in Roger Rabbit though (I've blocked most memories of the Mario movie from my brain), and even just that is a great turn to be remembered for. Hoskins will be missed greatly. :(
