Something had been bothering me for years about a certain DBZ edit.
I wasn't sure where else to post this, if you know where it should be then please redirect it. :3
There is something I don't get. Back when DBZ was on Cartoon Network there was an episode where Goku was going back to the spirit world. When Gohan was saying his goodbye he said something along the lines of "Daddy, I like you" instead of telling his dad he loved him. I really don't get Cartoon Network's logic. Gohan can't tell his dad that he loves him but Dende can yell at them telling them not to "piss off" Shenron? Really? I just don't get this stupidity. I can only imagine what Funimation was thinking when they were ordered to make that edit. It has been boggling my mind for years and now I wanna raise this question.
This should be in the DBZ Section of the forums.
Moving it there now.
There's a lot of strange edits I remember from Cartoon Network. What always perplexed me was that the violence in DBZ got censored a lot, but then I'd see Powerpuff Girls getting away with some crazy violence. I could at least understand why the Ocean Dub episodes got much more censored and edited as they were on syndication rather than cable TV.
