Who Does the English voice over?
Soul eater not is going to be an anime soon, and If they release in English I want to be a voice actor in it. My problem is I cant find out what company does it, so I cant contact them. If you know who it is, or a contact please help me out.
FUNimation dubs it in-house.
And honestly, I wouldn't get your hopes up about becoming a voice actor so soon. Here's an article that Justin Sevakis wrote over at ANN that pretty much summarizes the entire experience up:
In short: It's probably not gonna happen. Sorry. :hmm:
Welcome to the forums vinyl!
And yea Funi usually dubs stuff in house.
Yeah, you actually have to be a real actor to do voice work.
Ok thanks, I was looking more into it and I found this email ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) on a yahoo answer page from like 3 years ago. Could anyone tell me if this is legit, or even still a thing anymore?
Probably bogus, although I can't say so for sure.
If anyone asks you to give them your credit card or personal info, don't do it.
They don't have a contact page listing their various email addresses anymore, at least that I can find. You could try the email and see if it sends, but you can also go under support and see if you can contact them that way since that's now the official means of doing so. I'd recommend the latter, personally.
Just be aware that if you don't have legitimate acting experience you don't have much of a shot. They also require all actors to be at their studio in Texas to record; that means you'd have to fly there on your own accord. It's very difficult to get into voice acting.
That, and it's also very difficult, demanding work that pays next to nothing.
So you better not quit your day job if you decide to pursue a VA career.
That email address is legit. You may email it to request more information and to submit your resume and demo reel.
