Fun Time Trips

  • I created this thread so that people can share their adventures travelling if they’ve left the comfort zone of their locale. If you have pictures, go ahead share them, I have some albums here, so I have linked them over.

The next set of trips I have, I no longer have pictures of any of these trips because I had them stored in a computer that crashed and I didn’t’ have them backed up so as a result I lost them all, or most of them and the leftover ones are, sort of lame. So, I’ll just talk about these trips a little bit.

I have been to Banff around 4 or 5 times, I love going there, lots of fun, the scenery, the mountains and the overall mood, I want to go again.

There’s also Las Vegas in 2011, where I stayed at Mandalay Bay, we upgraded the room and got a really nice view of the strip. We ate at a restaurant called Picasso’s at the Bellagio Hotel and while it was an expensive meal, around $130 per person to be exact and it was well worth it. It was a 6 course set dinner where we could choose from the selection of dishes they offered, and I can’t even begin to describe how great it all tasted; I didn’t know food could have such rich flavor and texture. As I had mentioned, while it had a heavy price tag it was worth every penny, I could just sit here and write about the experience, so good.

Maine in 2011, we went for my brother’s wedding, a very nice and peaceful place and the seafood, so delicious, I don’t think I saturated myself with so much lobster and clam chowder in all my life. I can still taste it, the seafood here is good and all, but it’s just not the same, even when buying fresh, it’s just not quite there.

Puerto Vallarta, I went for a week in 2012 on an all-inclusive trip, probably the most bang for the buck trip I’ve been on. We spent most of the time swimming in the ocean and hanging out on the beach, although we did make our way into town a few times and that was lots of fun as well.
