All Might is the embodiment of all that is good. All that is just. All that is strived for in a society full of superpowered meta humans. He is the Symbol of Peace and Justice, the One man who is there for All. The man who gives all of his might to uphold this.

    alt text

But even then he is someone doing his best to try and give his all, even when he himself is no longer strong enough to give his absolute best without succumbing to his scars and newfound limitations that hamper his ability to do these good deeds. He is someone who does so much for so many people, but he feels guilt and shame that he still can't do enough.

    alt text

But even then, even though he can no longer be the absolute pinnacle of the super hero mesiah that he feels he is expected to be, he is doing another equally, truly important duty to the world that he gives: leading the next generation to follow in his foot steps, if not to grow and to improve in places where he himself failed.

    alt text

Even then he is not a perfect being even if society views him as an unstoppable force. We know he is weak. We know he is flawed. We know his focus on self sacrifice to do good has done damage to himself and those who wish to follow him. He is inexperienced as a teacher, and he disregards his own personal health and well being for the sake of others. These are seen as good ideas for heroes but even then we question if this is truly the right way or if there is a way.

    alt text

He is a man of mystery, and while his past may still be a mystery there's an important that he teaches us all about ourselves. Be it the characters or the viewer, it's not who you were or the failures and shortcomings that you had in the past that define yourself. It's who you choose to be. Who you grow to be. Who you decide to become, and what you do with the path you take that defines the good that you can do in this world. That even someone so frail, weak, and seemingly helpless can do some true good for this world is one of the most influential and inspiring things that Toshinori "All Might" Yagi offers the world.

And that's why I hope that you too can appreciate why I feel that All Might is truly worthy to once again, take the #1 spot.

    Plus. Ultra.

P.S. I feel this moment alone also justifies and solidifies just how truly manly and awesome All Might really is.

Daryun is truly a man where loyalty means everything.

    alt text

He will do anything to serve his prince, a member of the royal family whom he truly believes will be a good leader for his country. And with this loyalty, he also feels a very strong sense of morality and honor. He will not ruthlessly attack those whom cannot defend themselves. While he is an extremely skilled warrior, he will not abuse his abilities and will only fight when the odds are fair.

He is not only powerful, but is also very intelligent and an excellent tactition. He puts a lot of thought in to his moves, and is not one to act rashly or in anger. We see this put in to action when he stands before his king in episode 2, advising a retreat as he fears the enemy is planning something (Which we later find out, they were and it does succeed), and despite the rage his king shows at his "cowardly behavior", he does not flinch or grow angry. Daryun is a character that tries to do right, even when he knows the odds may not be in his own favor.

In true knight style, even when doubt is cast upon Arslan and his right to the throne, Daryun fully believes in his prince and knows he will serve him to the end of his days, regardless of bloodright. Despite his desire to enact vengeance for the downfall of his kingdom, he considers his job of protecting Arslan to be his top priority. Daryun is known as one of the most skilled fighters in the series, basically a one man army, and that is an impressive feat considering the series he's in and the number of badasses there are.

Daryun is truly a warrior that fights with skill and honor.
