Xbox 360 Known Issues & Status

  • This is the official thread for FunimationNow Xbox 360 app support. Please follow this thread for the status of any reported issues. You may also report any issues not listed here and/or ask questions.

    Please note that Microsoft is no longer accepting new apps nor updates to existing apps, so not all issues can be fixed. If it's a feed issue, then we can likely fix it. If it's an app issue, then we cannot.

    1. Queue list cut off at 48 Shows. Newly added Shows do not appear in Queue when the number of Shows in Queue is 48 or greater.
      a. Status: โŒIssue cannot be fixed
      b. While the feed part of this issue has been fixed for all other apps, there is still an app part of the issue that cannot be fixed on Xbox 360 because updates can no longer be submitted.
      c. You can rearrange the order of the Shows in your Queue via the website. We are also considering having newly added Shows appear at the top of the list instead of at the bottom, so that they'll at least show up in the Xbox 360 app.

    Video Player

    1. Video player takes a long time to load if video is in a longer season
      a. Status: โœ… Fixed!
      b. To fix this and get around not being able to update the app anymore, we've had to remove the video list entirely by making the feed always return 0 results. Unfortunately, since we can't update the app, we also can't change the video player UI, so now, there is just a big empty space at the bottom with "0 items". It makes the video player UI look a bit off, but it was the best we could do in order to decrease the load time on the player.
