OK, here is something that can be an alternative to the problematic Funi video player.

  • OK, here is something that can be an alternative to the problematic Funi video player. At vrv.co, you can watch a lot of the dubbed Funi titles (as there are simulcasts, there are subbed shows also). Also, you can link your Crunchyroll and Funimation accounts with your VRV account so you are paying almost $10/month across 3 sites (just cancel the CR and Funi accounts so you don't are double-billed).

  • VRV is definitely a great service, but just be aware that as of now that while they have a large chunk of Funimation's catalog, they don't have everything.

Also, as far as the English dubbed shows are concerned, VRV doesn't have subtitles for on-screen text or non-English spoken languages. This makes certain shows such as Ping Pong, Drifters, and The Devil is a Part-timer nigh impossible to watch.

And VRV is US only, leaving out Canada and Funimtion's new markets.
