@gohan6425 I haven't tried to upload anything to the forum to know this as fact, but normally when a website is talking about photo size, it's referring to the size of the file. Haven't seen too many sites recently which physically restrict based on pixel count. The iphone 6s creates massive photo files even compared to a lot of digital cameras.
I'll watch the video of the panel on a week where I'm not very busy. Too busy to watch this week. Anyway, can you tell me everything she explained about dubbing songs?
See that's the beauty of having a video link. Be it now, or a week from now, you can come back to THAT link and watch it on your own time. Go at your own pace. Why listen to us talk about it when you can enjoy it at your own pace and leisure.
I would like to point out that everyone has made some kind of valid point. The truth is, if the Japanese artists do no truly wish to spread the enjoyment of a particular animè, there is likely nothing you can do. As for FUNimation, well instead of babbling and telling the people that bring you money to not post their desires of a continuation, why not host a competition? Find artists among animè fans, voice actors and get the right to make a second season with your own people, of course offering most profitable funds to the original company and artist.
If anything, Japan thrives on money, but most of all popularity. I'm sure they would love scouting possible Americanized talent for the world of Animè. I don't know, but I have a feeling that when it comes to fandom, Japan and America, Fandom will win. For it is what controls the financial growth, the spread of talent in a world of pure enlightenment. This is the very truth.
@overlord_chris Hi overlord_chris! I know I'm just another user of Funimation like yourself, but I believe that your suggestion is a tad on the vague side.
You said "pay for 3 different log-ins", so I'm assuming you're aware of the "Family & Friends" add-on feature Funimation has available to subscribers for an additional $1.99/mo, allowing for 4 streams in total to be played simultaneously (your own + 3 additional streams).
I am just about to submit a suggestion regarding this subscription add-on myself, and I'm assuming that what I want to suggest is what you're intending to suggest as well. That is, that each streamer can have their own designated "channel" or "profile" that doesn't affect the existing subscriber's own preferences.
i.e. If a family member or friend adds something to their queue, it won't be added to my/your queue; if they watch something you're not interested in, it won't show up in my/your watch history, etc., etc..
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is this the correct interpretation of what you're suggesting?
@pleco_breeder It's a visual novel. 5 heroine routes (Lucia, Shizuru, Chihaya, Kotori, Akane) then the "true ending" which is the Moon Route and Terra Route. The anime is based off the visual novel and did a terrible job. Moon and Terra (which were S2) were fine but S1 was almost completely anime original, awkwardly crammed in VN stuff as "fanservice" (not the sexy kind), and cut out most of what made the VN so enjoyable.
@MidnightAoshi If you like Visual Novels I'd suggest reading it instead (once it releases on Steam). As I said above it's a terrible adaptation. You might be fine with S2 as it's mostly disconnected, just answers a lot of questions left from S1 but that would be like watching Clannad After Story without Clannad.
@Joeynator3000 I'm sorry that you're having issues with buffering. If you haven't already, please send in a ticket to www.funimation.com/contact-us and the tech team will get back to you as soon as they are able. I will also try to contact @FunimationHelp on Twitter for you on your behalf and see if we might be able to get a faster response that way.
@emdier Report him to the management. Have the ushers tell him that if he doesn't keep quiet during the movie that he'll be escorted from the theater without refund. That should shut him up.
This past weekend I was in Dallas, and I was able to catch a showing of Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry at the Alamo Drafthouse, and right before the movie started, they made sure to play a short video reminding everyone that the theater was now a "SILENT ZONE." Whereas most theaters ask you to stay quiet and silence your phone during the film, the Drafthouse flat out tells you that if you break any rules, you will be given ONE warning, then escorted from the theater after a repeat offense. I actually really appreciated how seriously they took things there.
Greetings! I am a huge fan of this show, but there one small problem. It's not complete! we don't have either the final episodes and the beginning episodes towards how it all began! It would be amazing if you guys would or can add them! Not only that it'll be highly appreciated. Thank you :)
You also forgot the Movie which was released by Pioneer and Adventures of the Mini-Goddesses which was also released by Pioneer.
-Anyway, the OVA series that takes place after TV Season 2 has never been licensed.
-OVA series 1 was originally licensed by AnimEigo and is out of Print
-TV Season 1 is / was licensed by Media Blasters Anime Works Label it's finally out of Print, so I think it would be available
Movie and Mini Goddesses OVA are out of Print as well
Funimation will only license any of it, if they feel it would be profitable for them. If they want to test the waters for getting the rest of the series, I think the movie on Blu-Ray would be a good test, as I feel quite a few fans (like me) who have it on DVD would like to upgrade it, and it fully captures what makes the series so special. But it's all up to Funimation's licensing Department
