@emdier Oh damn you live around the area of where the legend wrestler Bret Hart lives. So are there any other bridges you can go off of from the United States that are close to you the only bridge I know about is the peace bridge.
Fun Fact, I went to the same High School as him. Not at the same time, but the same building.
Well what do you know, I did too. Just went there for exams though. We were in famous hallways and didn't know it.
Probably walked past each other one day and didn't even realize it.
I'm not great with recognizing celebrities. Actually just happened about a week ago. I work at a golf course and was talking to this one guy for quite some time, then a friend who didn't work at the course sent me a frantic message saying this famous hockey player was there and what do you know, it was the guy I was talking to.
Calgary is a wealthy city, so lots of opportunity that's for sure, especially since I work at a high end golf course.
Damn you're better off just going to the United States in buying it at Walmart when it comes out.
Not really. Having to get a passport (at $120+), then driving some 5+ hours to the nearest Walmart (no idea really how far the closest one in the US would be), would not be cheaper to buy one anime set. Dragon Ball seems popular enough here that it would just be in stores. I have no idea about if the ocean dub gets priority here to not (not really a DB fan, so don't pay attention), but the laws apply more to TV than dvd sales.
Uh? Do you go off the peace bridge?
Fun fact! Canada is the second biggest country in the world. We are both located in Alberta, which is quite a ways away from where you're describing. And even if we went to the nearest border crossings, we would be going in to the wilderness parts of Montana, so quite a drive to a Walmart with a decent anime selection I would assume.
@emdier Montana???? Peace bridge is located on the borders of New York State I know because I'm not too far away from it. The peace Bridge is located in Niagara Falls...
What I'm saying is, we are nowhere near the Peace Bridge.
Korr and I are in Calgary, Alberta. Waaaaaaaay away from the Peace Bridge.
@emdier Oh damn you live around the area of where the legend wrestler Bret Hart lives.
Funny story, his old mansion is actually a building I walk by all the time. It's just blocked by a fence from the off leash dog park I go to all the time.
Oh damn your lucky. You ever get to meet him? I wish I could meet. Very good wrestles.
Unfortunately nope (Although I likely wouldn't know him if I saw him). I meet a lot of other athletes though, a lot of hockey players and football players. Working at a luxury golf course has that perk.
Bret Hart unfortunately has had bad luck with aging but not because of him but because of the stroke he suffered in 2003. In 1997 he was 40 and wrestling great matches and look like this
And now he look this
@emdier This stroke real screw him. However he also had a lot of bad luck with the screw job with Vince McMahon and 1997 and then of course his younger brother Owen Hart has been killing accidentally in a fail stunt at live WWE pay-per-view called "over the edge" in 1999 yes that was actually the paper views name. Not to mention the concussion he got by Goldberg in 1999 when he was with WCW which alternately end of this career. Hart Family had a lot of bad luck in the last 2 decades.
