I haven't seen it on Funimation yet but a couple years ago Viz did the same with Naruto Shippuden. I watched like 10 episodes of their latest dub and still to this day they are no where to be seen. Shame. Time to learn Japanese.
Wow, do not recognize any name, only one, Johnny Yong Bosch, who I know from Bleach and my fav Wii game, Fragile Dreams (And believe the main character from Tales of Symphonia 2) Now, may have heard the others before, just dont know their names. Would like to see Johnny Yong Bosch do a character on One Piece though.
yeah I kinda meant everything you said.
One Piece has a larger story to it.
One Piece is as popular as it is cause the story is that good.
I agree with you when it takes time to catch up I started One piece back when the new episodes were in the Thriller bark arc ,it took me a couple months of watching to catch up.
I think shorter season anime will do better on toonami like 12-25 episodes instead of anime that has new episodes almost every week.
@TheRealSneakers Truth be told, I really think that was intentional XD After all, Robin is really not the kind of person who would destroy her dignity like that, and I imagine that it also extends to the voice actress as well.
@TheRealSneakers Yes Veronica did Ash from Pokemon 1998-2006 which is what she BEST known for but she done other thing too. And yes Veronica did Robin voiced in the 4Kids episodes dub. "4Kids Vs Funimation: Meeting Nico Robin Dub Comparison" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewivMHT-z7k this is a better way of hearing voices... The 4Kids one with Veronica is Non-HD Version
Well, also wonder if the Gold film also has that Heart of Gold special, cause the subject for the email I got said,
Pre-order One Piece Film: Gold & Heart of Gold
So am assuming you get the Gold movie, and the special, Heart of Gold as well.
Nope, they're separate releases.
Ah, ok then, so they both coming out the same day then...is ok, will get both...would been nice for it to be a set. Waiting for it to appear on Amazon.ca to preorder it.
my guess is that there might be some licensing to work out. I really hope they get around to it. I don't even want them to bother remastering from season one, just start where the show began airing in 720p with episode 204
It is after dressrosa, not sure how long after though. The filler arc Silver Mine and the special are connected to the movie, likely to provide a little back story to the movie and promote it. Movies don't always have an exact spot in the anime story line. Not sure if that was helpful but I tried.
