Ryotaro Okiayu (The Prince of Tennis) leads the charge as reincarnated general Zhuge Liang (courtesy name Kongming), who forms a strategic partnership with amateur musician Eiko Tsukumi, played by Kaede Hondo (Mieruko-chan), to bring peace to the world with club music.

Known for their original projects and novel-based anime, Ya Boy Kongming! will be P.A. Works’ first-ever adaptation of a manga!

Kodansha USA, who publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series as:

General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. So on his deathbed, he wished only to be reborn into a peaceful world…and was sent straight to modern-day party-central, Tokyo! Can even a brilliant strategist like Kongming adapt to the wild beats and even wilder party people?!
