Spy x Family Gets TV Anime Adaptation from WIT Studio and Cloverworks

Everyone’s favorite found family is officially coming to the small screen in 2022! That’s right, a Spy X Family anime adaptation has been announced, courtesy of WIT STUDIO (Great Pretender) and CloverWorks (Horimiya).

A set of teaser visuals were released, along with a teaser trailer:

Takuya Eguchi (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) has been tasked with voicing elite spy Loid Forger, codename Twilight, who has to hold the world and a family together. The identities of Yor and Anya’s voice actors are still confidential.

On the operations side, Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Dororo) is directing the adaptation, with character designs by Kazuaki Shimada (The Promised Neverland) and music by [K]NoW_NAME (Sakura Quest).

It’s no secret that fans have been clamoring for a Spy x Family anime since it was first serialized in 2019—it took 5th place in AnimeJapan’s “Manga We Want to See Animated” 2021 poll, which receives nearly 200,000 votes every year.
