CloverWorks Unveils Original Anime Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward for Winter 2022

The studio behind the visionary WONDER EGG PRIORITY is bringing an all-new original anime project to the upcoming Winter 2021 season with Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward, revealing a teaser visual and trailer, along with cast and staff!

The visual’s tagline reads, “The future of the 24th Ward is up to me.”

The trailer shows off gorgeous pieces of background art and a colorful introduction of the main characters, voiced by Junya Enoki (JUJUTSU KAISEN) as Shuta Aoi, Yuma Uchida (Fruits Basket) as Ran Akagi and Kaito Ishikawa (The Case Study of Vanitas) as Koki Suido.

Set on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, the story follows unlikely childhood friends Shuta, Ran, and Koki, who went their separate ways after a certain incident. However, their lives are intertwined once more when they receive a call from their friend urging them to “decide the future” …a friend they thought to be dead.

Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is helming the production as director, with original character designs by FiFS (Prince of Stride: Alternative), scripts by Vio Shomikura (Steins;Gate visual novel), and music by Hideyuki Fukasawa (Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]).
