Original Badminton Anime Ryman’s Club Announced for Winter 2022

Members of Sunlight Beverage’s sales department are teaming up to break the sports anime mold in Ryman’s Club, a new original anime project scheduled for Winter 2022!

First up on the roster of details is a set of teaser visuals, starring the adult ensemble in their contrasting attires:

A teaser trailer was also released, highlighting prodigy Mikoto’s devastating loss that made him leave the sport behind…until he met his new coworkers:

Pictured from left to right below, the team will be brought to life by Junya Enoki (2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team) as Mikoto Shiratori, Shinichirō Miki (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as Tatsuru Miyazumi, Kaito Ishikawa (Haikyu!!) as Sota Saeki, Ryota Ohsaka (Ace of the Diamond) as Tōya Saeki and Tetsuya Kakihara (Yowamushi Pedal) as Koki Takeda.

Ryman's Club Anime

Aimi Yamauchi (Blade of the Immortal episode director) is helming the production at studio LIDENFILMS, who animated badminton anime HANEBADO!, alongside Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai) on series composition, Suzuhito Yasuda (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) on character design, and fox capture plan (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) on music.
