A new, original sci-fi anime series from SILVER LINK. is coming! We’re excited to announce that Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD is officially headed to Funimation as part of the Fall 2021 anime season lineup.

Part of a mixed media project from Square Enix that includes the manga Nirvana and the mobile video game Asylum, Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD follows the aftermath of a mysterious illness that slips the people of Antarctica into a coma.

The series focuses in on protagonist Shigure Daniel Kai, voiced by Hiro Shimono (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan), who is immune to the illness and drives himself further into the city’s abyss to find a cure.

From Square Enix, KADOKAWA and studio SILVER LINK. (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense), Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD will arrive on Funimation this October.

Funimation will stream Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand as it airs in Japan, as well as Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Brazil with simulcast dates to be confirmed.
