A key visual for the first part was revealed last month, giving us another taste of just how intense this finale will be:

OLDCODEX will be returning to perform a “Free” version of their opening theme for Season 3 of the TV anime, “Heading to Over,” as the film’s main theme.

Eisaku Kawanami (Free! Season 3) is in charge of directing and scriptwriting for both films at Kyoto Animation.

The first part is set to release on September 17 in Japan, followed by the second part on April 22, 2022.
