Bleach Manga One-Shot Celebrates Series 20th Anniversary on August 10

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the legendary Bleach series, mangaka Tite Kubo is releasing a 73-page one-shot as part of Weekly Shonen Jump‘s upcoming issue.

Releasing on August 10 in Japan, this one-shot manga chapter was teased by Kubo-sensei on Twitter with an illustration featuring Ichigo.

This latest Bleach news comes after it was announced that an anime adaptation of the manga’s Thousand Year Blood War arc is in production.

Kubo-sensei launched Bleach in 2001, wrapping up its story in 2016. Kubo-sensei’s BURN THE WITCH, which contains references to the Bleach universe, was adapted into an anime in 2020.
