At last, it’s happened! You’ve been transported to another world…except, you’re immediately part of the workforce for an evil mining company. Get ready for a not-so-magical isekai when The Dungeon of Black Company comes to Funimation as part of the Summer 2021 anime season lineup.

The series follows Kinji, a bit of a lazy guy in the real world. But when he’s transported to another world expecting a brighter purpose, he’s forced into hard labor instead, working as part of an evil mining company.

From studio SILVER LINK. (The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Wise Man’s Grandchild) and director Mirai Minato (BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.), The Dungeon of Black Company begins its simulcast on Funimation on July 9.

Based on the manga series of the same name from Youhei Yasumura, the series stars voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as Kinji Ninomiya, Misaki Kuno (The Seven Deadly Sins) as Rimu and Hiro Shimono (My Hero Academia) as Wanibe.
