Are you excited for the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie prequel? Well, we’ve got our first look at Yuta Okkotsu thanks to a new character visual just released for the upcoming film.

The official website for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 revealed the character design for Yuta, with him sporting a new, unique look based on a blueprint from Jujutsu Kaisen mangaka Gege Akutami. This is our closest look yet at the cursed hero in the upcoming film.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is set to adapt the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga, a mini-series that predates the main manga, released by Gege Akutami in 2017, and will focus on the life of Yuta Okkotsu, a high schooler with immense cursed energy haunted by the spirit of his late childhood friend, Rika Orimoto.

To Yuta’s horror, Rika’s spirit no longer appears as the sweet girl he once knew, but as a special-grade vengeful cursed spirit. Fortunately, Jujutsu High School teacher Satoru Gojo is sympathetic to his plight and enrolls him into Jujutsu High, where he can learn how to combat Curses and confront the Curse that haunts him.
