And it’s all set to the sound of the anime’s opening theme, “Ai no Supreme” by Japanese pop band fhána, who also performed the first season’s opening theme, “Rhapsody of Blue Sky.”

It’s not just all fun and games though—this brand-new visual reminds us that there’s also an epic side to the series 🔥

The sequel to Kyoto Animation’s hit comedy anime marks the studio’s first TV anime since the deadly arson attack that took place on July 18, 2019. Tatsuya Ishihara (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is taking over as director from the late Yasuhiro Takemoto, who is credited as Series Director.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 7.
