Forget Edward and Jacob. Get ready for #TeamKurusu, because an official broadcast date for vampire drama MARS RED has been set, and a new trailer has arrived along with it!

The first-of-its-kind stage reading adaptation and Funimation co-production will officially begin its anime broadcast on April 5. That’s right, get ready to sink your teeth into MARS RED as part of the spring season!

There’s also a brand-new trailer for the series, which shows off more of what we can expect as the elite group Code Zero works to track down the increasing number of vampires after an artificial blood source appears.

From creator Bun-O FUJISAWA, MARS RED is directed by Kouhei Hatano, along with Junichi Fujisaku (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) as writer, Karakarakemuri (Laughing Under the Clouds) as original character designer, Yukari Takeuchi (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) on character design, and music from Toshiyuki Muranaka.
