Attack on Titan Manga Series Comes to an End This April

The worldwide phenomenon manga, Attack on Titan, will release its final chapter on April 9.

Kodansha broke the news this week that the series will come to an end in the May issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, which releases on April 9. The series’ final collected Japanese volume will follow with a release on June 9.

Isayama-sensei has been telling fans for years that the series was nearing its end. In 2013, Anime News Network reported that he wanted to end the series within three years. The last update was in November 2020, when Isayama-san said the series was within 2% of its conclusion.

With over 100 million copies in circulation and a successful anime series, it’s not hard to see the impact Attack on Titan has had over the years.
