The students of U.A. High School now have 30 million reasons to say “GO BEYOND, PLUS ULTRA!” Why? Well, the My Hero Academia manga series has hit a milestone of over 30 million copies in circulation.

The series publisher Shueisha revealed the news that Kohei Horikoshi‘s mega-hit manga now officially has over 30 million units in circulation, including physical and digital publications. The news hit on the same day as the manga’s 29th volume released.

According to Shueisha, 2021 is “My Hero Academia Year” and it’s hard to argue! The fifth season of the anime is premiering on March 27, and a third film in the franchise has already been announced for a Japanese release this summer.

In April, My Hero Academia will debut its first art exhibit, “My Hero Academia Exhibition: DRAWING SMASH,” featuring original art from Horikoshi-san, as well as 3D interactive elements and video screenings. The exhibit will be held in Tokyo and Osaka.
