Despite what its title tells you, there are more than two lovestruck characters in Horimiya for you to fall in love with!

The official Horimiya anime Twitter account released a second promo video for the upcoming series, putting Miyamura and Hori’s respective best friends, Toru Ishikawa and Yuki Yoshikawa, into the spotlight.

It was also announced that Seiichirou Yamashita (APPARE-RANMAN!, Orange) and Yurie Kozakai (Talentless Nana, Dropkick on My Devil!) will be joining the growing cast as Toru and Yuki.

A third promo video starring student council members Sengoku, Remi, and Sakura is already planned for release on November 2 at 5 a.m. CST, so be sure to save the date!

Synopsis (via Yen Press): At school, Kyouko Hori is known for being smart, attractive, and popular. On the other hand, her classmate, the boring, gloomy Izumi Miyamura, tends to get painted as a “loser fanboy.” But when a liberally pierced and tattooed (not to mention downright gorgeous) Miyamura appears unexpectedly on the doorstep of secretly plain-Jane homebody Hori, these two similarly dissimilar teenagers discover that there are multiple sides to every story…and person!

Masashi Ishihama (PERSONA5 the Animation) is directing the anime adaptation at studio CloverWorks (The Promised Neverland), alongside Takao Yoshioka (Your lie in April) on the script and Haruko Iizuka (Ensemble Stars) on character design. The series is set for a January 2021 premiere in Japan.
