A time of peace. An enjoyable life. A fate that will change. We’re excited to announce that KING’s RAID: Successors of the Will is joining the Funimation Fall 2020 anime season lineup!

Based on the RPG mobile video game series from Vespa, KING’s RAID: Successors of the Will follows Kasel with his party of four as they search for a sealed holy sword. 

From the studios OLM (Pokémon) and Sunrise Beyond, KING’s RAID: Successors of the Will stars Japanese voice actors Kaito Ishikawa (My Hero Academia, Haikyu!!) as Kasel, Ai Kakuma (Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, High School DxD HERO) as Frey, Ari Ozawa (Plunderer, Special 7Special Crime Investigation Unit) as Cleo and Kengo Kawanishi (Dr. STONE, March comes in like a lion) as Roi. The series will be directed by Makoto Hoshino (Utano☆Princesama Revolutions). 

The opening theme will be performed by fripSide and is titled “legendary future,” while the ending theme is by KOTOKO and is titled “SticK Out.”

Official synopsis: A century has passed since King Kyle of the Orvelia kingdom destroyed the fierce demon lord Angmund, restoring peace to the lands. But serenity was not meant to last forever—with the news of new demon appearances reaching the ear of young squire Kasel, who bands together a group of companions that embark on a journey to locate the fabled holy sword to defeat the new enemies.
