Oh, we’re watching anime together.

We’re teaming up with the crew at Kodansha Comics as they host a series of weekly watch parties for some of the latest shows on Funimation based on their manga, including Gleipnir, Kakushigoto and more! Welcome to the Kodansha Home Anime Club!

Starting Friday, May 8 at 7 p.m. CT with the first two episodes of Gleipnir, Kodansha Comics will be hosting a watch-along on their Twitter, and Funimation will be joining in on the fun throughout the hour!

While it won’t be a direct stream of the episodes, you can make sure you’re prepped and ready to go on your end to join in on the fun!

  1. Make sure you’re signed up on Funimation so you can press play when the watch-along starts!
  2. Check Funimation and Kodansha Comics Twitter for the latest on what shows we’re watching.
  3. Use the hashtag #HomeAnimeClub and respond to our tweets to join in on the conversation! We’ll be talking about the show and posting along with it throughout the hour.
  4. Rinse and repeat the next week!

We’re super excited to be working with our amazing partners at Kodansha Comics to make this happen, and we can’t wait to watch these shows with you!
