The latest from P.A. Works, APPARE-RANMAN! is almost here! The high-stakes buddy racing adventure across America showed off a brand-new trailer, highlighting a handful of racers we’ll see when the show premieres this April.

While short and sweet, each intro goes a long way into introducing fans to the lead characters of the series.

There’s Appare Sorano, the brilliant and capable engineer, the conflict-averse katana master Kosame Isshiki, the proud and headstrong Hototo, the lone wolf Jing Xialian and a handful of others, including some of the adversaries our protagonists will face in the long race across the country.

Synopsis: The socially awkward yet genius engineer, Appare Sorano, and the wise but cowardly samurai, Kosame Isshiki, find themselves aimlessly drifting in the sea between Japan and America. In order to earn enough money to get back home, the duo enters a trans-American race in their own steam-powered car. Rivals, bandits, and other trials await them on this race from Los Angeles to New York.
