The story of a manga creator comes to life in the Kakushigoto anime adaptation, streaming subbed and dubbed on Funimation this spring.
Kakushigoto follows a lonely mangaka, Kakushi Goto, who draws vulgar manga. The twist? Well, he has to hide the fact that this is his work so that his young daughter, Hime, isn’t exposed to its mature content.
This slice-of-life comedy will explore the relationship between father and daughter, and the plight of an adult manga creator.
From Ajia-do (How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, Ascendance of a Bookworm) Kakushigoto‘s Japanese cast includes Rie Takahashi (Fate/Grand Order, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!) as Hime and Hiroshi Kamiya (Angel Beats!, Attack on Titan) as Kakushi, rounded out by voice actors Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia, High School DxD), Rikako Aida (Love Live! Sunshine!!), Shiho Kokido (Yuri!! on ICE, Drifters) and more!
