3 Cons! 1 Weekend! Anime Boston, PAX East, Sakura-Con

Must Read

It’s a busy Easter weekend for the gang here at FUNimation. We’re hitting 2 different cities at 3 separate conventions. FUNimation veteran Lance Heiskell will be leading the charge in Seattle at Sakura-Con with Joel Rodriguez in tow. Sully, Adam and Rojas will divide and conquer the city of Boston by bouncing between Anime Boston and PAX East. Here’s the lowdown for what’s going on at each convention.

As a convention exclusive, we’ll be selling the new Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – Collection 1 (Episodes 1 -33) DVD & Blu-ray almost 3 weeks before it releases.

To promote Cat Planet Cuties releasing on May 15th, we’ll have awesome photo standees and catgirls provided by ACP at both Anime Boston and Sakura-Con for 4 hours each day. Come and get your picture with Eris! We’ll be posting the pictures to our FUNimation Facebook page so you can share them with your friends.

On Sunday at Anime Boston, keep your eyes out for FUNimation Easter Eggs! Our Otaku Easter Bunny has hidden eggs around the convention center with a certificate you can redeem at the FUNimation booth for FABULOUS prizes.

And now a word from Adam:

You guys like free stuff right? Like free anime stuff? During Anime Boston we are having a special promotion for our FUNimation.com Elite Video Subscription service where you could win free stuff, free anime stuff! Stop by our booth during the weekend and pick up a set of free EVS ribbons from our freebie table.

Simply attach this to your Anime Boston badge and wear it around the convention to be eligible to play. FUNimation employees will be walking around the convention center from time to time looking for people with these ribbons on their badges. If we stop by and see you wearing one, you win a prize. It’s that easy! You could win anything from keychains and wristbands to blu-rays and box sets.
