No, the reason why is because unlike the series, the movies & OVAs never got remastered Blu-ray releases in Japan. The first movie & OVAs were released in the same Blu-ray box sets as the series over there but only as bonus DVDs.

Well nobody knows for sure if they're ever going to get the second movie (i sure hope so though since it was better than the first). As for Blu-ray, read the above response since it applies to this film too.

Re: YuYu Hakusho OVA & Movie

It's not outside the range of possibility that FUNimation could do their own upscale to put the films and OVAs on BluRay, and I can see them wanting to eventually to go along with their BluRay sets of the show, but I'm not really sure they'd be able to. With how fearful most Japanese companies are of reverse importation, they probably wouldn't allow FUNi to do one in this case.

As for that second movie getting a FUNi re-dub/re-release, I for one believe it's only a matter of time. FUNimation has surprised us again and again over the years by getting stuff from other companies to put it out again with the voice casts we're used to - it's happened like 5 times with DB properties - so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they WILL get the second movie in time. And I certainly do hope it's sooner than later though, because personally, that movie's dub was a looootttt worse than what the one that got re-released here was.
