I started Welcome to the NHK a while ago, and I love it. I'm at the part where Sato becomes addicted to an MMO, and I doubt that he will be able to pay his rent solely from that source of income.
It's interesting to see how Sato deals with all of the constraints that come with being a Hikikomori.
Hi! So, I just started this series today, and I couldn't stop watching! I'm already on episode 6! XD I think it's really funny and I feel like the whole situation as well as the characters are really realistic. I do have to wonder though, how is Satou still living in that apartment, if his debt is already so high? I guess it doesn't really matter as far as the plot of the story goes, but that's just a speculation I had. All in all, I'm excited to watch the next episode!
Well, that was a good series, not exactly as expected, but I think worth the journey.
Thoughts on the ending:
Spoiler: Highlight to view
Actually, it ended TWICE, both at a cliff. Our hero Tatsuhiro should have realized how special Misaki was to him then, or at many times along the way, but he was, after all, delusional, as well as tragically stuck on the wrong girl ( not so sane herself. ) The climax was frightening and surreal. There was not a "storybook ending", but a realistic one. The "tables turned" was an amusing sight, though some more genuine affection might have been nice.
I have seen the start of Tatami Galaxy, and it does seem to be off on a similar subject with a much weirder overall visual style? But I'm not sure if it will go to these depths. We shall see...

"Bide your time and hold out hope!" - Gankutsuoh ...that we get SPICE AND WOLF SEASON 3! ( and Monte Cristo on Blu Ray. )
This is a great anime. I could totally relate to the main character...don't know if that is actually a good thing.
Discovering the whole anime, manga, eroge, porn on the internet world. (Yes that escalated quickly.)

When they went to the suicide island and the other girl comes to stop him. Telling how he is such a looser, etc. Yeah that is exactly what that guy needs to hear.

Never playing wow after watching eps 15 and 16
Who else saw themselves in the socks and/or bare feet of Sato, living as a "hikikomori"?

This is my favorite anime.
Its the only anime i have liked enough to buy on box set.
I liked it so much i also paid 35 bucks for the book on Amazon. I think that says alot for how good it is, seeing as how Im a rather cheap person.
Best anime ever.
An anime about people who watch too much anime! ( and games etc. )
Ironically, you can now watch it on streaming video and never leave your apartment... "It's a conspiracy!"
