Re: Trinity Blood Series Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
Okay so... I am only on episode 4 (I am watching the dubbed version, it actually seems to flow a little better this way than the very first episode, which I watched subbed), so I am not far into it and maybe things will turn around... but am I the only one that feels that despite all its good qualities, this anime is not delivering lovable characters?
Nightroad seems tired and cliche to me, and I don't especially see anything new, exciting, particularly beautiful, or engaging about any other characters either. Don't get me wrong, it is beautifully - stunningly drawn - the backgrounds are breathtaking and the character designs are beautiful and imaginative. The voices are well-done also; but the characters' personalities seem hollow and wooden to me - I find myself often pausing the movie so I can switch to another tab and do something else... a sure sign that I am bored. Anyone else feel this way, or am I being overly critical?
Love that series. I kind of wish they went a little further with the anime.
This anime was great. If only it went more in-depth with the characters and if only there could be a second season.
