With Watanuki having had his appearances in Blood-C, and xxxHOLiC having a resurgence in Japan right now, I'm, for better or worse, starting to get slivers of hope that Funimation will give xxxHOLiC Kei a consideration. After the manga ended early 2011, I'd washed my hands of the series and moved on to other things, but suddenly 2013 hits and xxxHOLiC turns up alive and kicking; The manga just restarted and currently a live action tv drama adaption is airing in Japan (which I've been following and is actually pretty interesting), and the anime itself is being re-aired as well, it just feels like if any time would be good to try give the series a go again, it would be now. I'm not holding my breath, but I am holding to hope.

FUNi has said that they have no plans to dub anymore xxxHolic.
I saw that post years ago, but I don't take "outlook cloudy" as a definite indication that there's no hope, unlike the pretty definite statements about dropped series like Kodocha and Big Windup I've seen... or D. Gray Man which is known to be stuck in licensing hell because of issues with Dentsu.
Back then, I would've agreed that xxxHOLiC had almost zero chance because it was reaching the end of its life at the time, not to mention was also growing quite stagnant. But the series is coming back and I am seeing interest regenerating. Just because there's no plans at the moment doesn't mean that they can't decide to give it another chance.
Unless there is a very major upswing sales for what is currently available (the S.A.V.E. release), FUNi will not getting anymore.
