Hi guys
New guy here. After seen the complete Chobit's series i felt in love with it but left me wanting more and this series deserves a proper ending. The ending left me thinking why was there no closing to the loop holes left behind.
1-Why was Chii in the garbage?
2-Why was Chii glowing while reading the town with no people ?
3-What was going to Happen to Hideki now that he admitted he's love for chii after knowing full well how society treated the manager from Tirol: Hiroyasu Ueda for marrying a persocom.
This series warranted a third season or at least a movie to close those loop holes and leave this fan with an even bigger smile . I love Chobits it made me appreciate people around more.

Sometimes fans are left to interpret the endings for themselves. Not everything is going to be explained and laid out for you.

Thanks for the replay, and yes i do understand that some anime companies do that so that the fans let their imagination run wild , but still this Series has the potential to go even deeper into the subject of what makes us human and how can a human really love a robot. Also there are too many loose ends just to let us come up with our own conclusion since we all know everybody has a different way of thinking and interpreting scenes and actions.

I was reading your comment here and instantly the anime movie 'Metropolis' popped into my head. I would really check out this movie if I were you.
Anyways I think Chobits ended pretty well. I wish there were more episodes, but at the same time the mysteries of Chi are intriguing. I'm kind of glad that they didn't spoil everything with a scientific reason behind it.
It's been years since I watched all of this and read the manga, but here goes...
This is open to interpretation, but it's possibly because of the apartment manager since she helped to create persocoms. I can't remember if she herself was the inventor or if she was on the team that did.
Because the apartment manager is the author of the book. There was probably something in the way it was written that resonated with Chi.
There will be trials, but their love will pull through. This is basically what is said at the very end in both the anime and that manga. Hideki is the someone for Chi, and nothing will ever change that.
Thank you Miostory and Sophie
for the responses to my question. You and I feel the same way Miostory. This series needs more because it has the room and the means to continue. Also i do agree they didn't went the scientific way to explain everything because it would kill the most important aspect of this series: "How far you have to go to love someone and find the one the one for you."
Sophie thank you for all those pointers but still those loop holes need to be address you know by a few more episodes or at least a mini movie. Miss Hibyia was part of the team that created Freya, chii was created by her husband as a gift to Freya because she was alone. I agree Hideki and Chii will have their trials and thats what i want to see how they will overcome all that and how will their future will take shape.
Me too!
Here are my thoughts on some of the questions.
1.) Why Chii was in the dumpster.
2.) Why Chii glows when reading "The Town with no People"?
I thought it was wrapped up pretty well but I'd still like to see a move or some OVA's.
