Probably not I doubt they would have a story to run on maybe if they cut back from 27 episodes to 13 there probably would have been either way it says complete series on netflix so idk but if your into that kind of anime also I would suggest you give spice and wolf a try it's currently on netflix
I suspect this be one o' dem troll threads but I won't lock it if an actual discussion starts on whether or not a second season is needed, wanted or a good idea for Chobits.

I'm almost certain that sadly Chobits will not continue its career It was aired back in 2002 as where its now been nine years Its very doubtful. But it isn't Impossible there has been other instances where this has happened. So dont lose hope, I know I haven't.
I would love to know a lot about anime that seem as thou they need to continue. Chobits, is one of them. So is Dance in the Vampire bund. I love that series so much. I do not want to lose hope. My suggestion is to try to connect with the creature of the series maybe and see if you can put ideas into his or her head. That is what i want to do with Dance in the vampire bund.
Hi everybody......new guys here and it seem Im also late..lol. Well i came to post here after seen Chobits(thanks to my younger brother for telling me you need to see chobits & netflix awesome job on bringing the dub version) in turn all i can say is: I LOVE CHOBITS!!!! . This is one of those series that could go on for at least 4 or 5 season. It has all the aspect real life has to offer: happiness,sadness,confusion,love,comedy,anguish etc etc. The intro got so stuck on my head and now I have it on my music playlist and somedays while commuting to work i put it on loop sigh. Thank you Clamp,Funimation and all the people that made this awesome series for making this guy happy :D . The only down size is that it ended so quickly for me and i wanted to see how would live be for Hideki,Chii and the rest of the cast after the last episode ...oh well at least we found out Hideki does love Chii and told her how he felt about her :D . That episode was so good that i had to pump my fist and say FINALLY!!. OK enough rambling for one day. later guys
I did like chobits, it was a really good series. i don't know why they stopped making it, i have some ideas for the show, and a couple of other anime shows. But one anime series i recommend seeing is fullmetal alchemist, the original series and brotherhood.
It is possible for them to make a second season. All they have to do is build off of what they haven't covered. For instance they never went to deep into what the syndicate's involvement was or what their goal was (even though it was only a "rumor")

no, not necessarily. they could make a modern (yet, slightly different) version of chobits. that's what they did with fullmetal alchemist.
