I was thinking of you guys produceing a disk for these systems that let you pick animes via the internet threw the disk on your system kinda like netflix but for your animes and mabey a few games on it with a chat room between systems talking about threre faveourate animes
i would totaly buy it.

But, it would be nice having an app on my 360 like netflix with the catalog the FUNi site has.
FUNimation should just make their streaming videos compatible with PS3's web browser.

I can probably say that if there was app for ps3, wii, and xbox 360.There might be more subscribers and new anime fans. I hope that all legal anime sites will go to video game apps. It would be nice. I really hope that the ps vita will get a anime app

The sites get money from the ads that are on the website. If they streamed somewhere else, such as on a game console, then they would be losing money.
The point of them streaming anime on the website is so that they can attract more visitors to the site. More visitors means more money for FUNi.
As much as I want to have a convenient way to stream anime on consoles, I just don't think it would work... and I don't want them to risk it.
I think one of the going assumptions is that a console streaming app would be for premium subscribers only, or they would have video ads. Funimation shouldn't need to make discs (and they wouldn't be able to for the Wii or 360, long story), since the 360 and PS3 are a lot more app friendly than they were. My guess is that a console streaming app would be a little too popular; I don't think Funimation's close to being able to handle the influx of new users an app would entail. That's the only reason I can think of that they'd be starting with mobile phone apps, since I suspect there's a much higher sign-up to actual usage ratio there.
A console app will eventually be worked on. For now, just the mobile app is being worked on.
Yes of course, FUNimation should make app for xbox360 like Youtube or Netflix either so that's easily watch Anime video streaming.
I personally dont care if they make an app for gaming consoles. I enjoy what they have to offer for me right now for free.

i would love for them to have a consoles app for all systems. even android phones and iphone. i wouldent mind paying $8 just to watch on my ps3 and my android, ipod (with linked account). i already finished all the anime on netflix and they dont seem to add any.
