Re: Possible app?

Well, crunchyroll's app is apparently popular enough as they also launched dedicated apps for Bleach and other popular titles. I'll admit that I rarely use it myself since not only the size but the quality suffers.

Re: Possible app?

Well, maybe those people don't care for size and quality. Personally, I would hate for quality to suffer if there ever is a FUNi app.

It's more for portability than quality. If you've got a long commute to work on a train, it's entertainment for your trip. Stuck in the back seat of a car while someone else is driving your carpool? Laying in bed and can't sleep, but your S.O. is still sleeping next to you and you don't want to wake them up by climbing out of bed (or making noise with the bedroom TV)? With a set of headphones it's good video for those situations. Especially on a phone with a larger screen like an Evo.

Re: Possible app?

Yup, and the Evo has high-def anyway.

Re: Possible app?

There's also the proliferation of tablets, which apparently make for decent and popular platforms for watching video.

Still rather see a PS3 one, but I do understand where the people wanting phone apps are coming from.

Re: Possible app?

What you're all saying makes sense. If there's ever an app for the iPhone, I hope they do one for the iPad. Apps for iPhone used on iPad tend to be iPhone size and that defeats the purpose (at least for me) to request such an app in the first place.

Re: Possible app?

I said the same thing in the old thread!!! Funimation should really think on making an app especially with how big the app business is!!!
