It'd be awesome cakes to watch Funimation content on either an iPad or an Android tablet. I have an iPad and sure, I can get on the site and watch from there, but I think using an app for it that allows me to access content through either a free (ads) or a paid subscription (no ads)would be great.

an app would be great, I have an HTC EVO and even just an app that puts me right into the forums where I can update posts and what not would be awesome. but I definitely like Peebs idea

I've got an iPhone 4, and I'd love for there to be an app available, especially once the paid subscriptions come into play.

I would seriously want a ps3 application. It would be awesome going straight to the website. It could add more to the Playstation does everything stuff.
I'd love a PS3 app for streaming videos too, even if it was premium only ala Hulu+. A phone app would be nice too, but I really don't watch much video on my phone as it is.

An iPad app would be awesome. The size of the screen allows for great viewing, and the HDMI mirroring allows for TV connectivity.
At home I have my PC connected to my TV, but an app would be great for watching FUNimation on the go.
I'll add my vote for an Android app. Crunchyroll has an app to watch videos from their site which is quite useful.
I work for Apple... so believe me when I say that an app would REALLY help boost your exposure and popularity. Most young teens in America are getting their hands on the iPhone and are total otakus for anything anime. Especially the anime-illiterate people will see the app and pique their interest. ESPECIALLY the people who have the new iPad 2 which can FINALLY SUPPORT FLASH VIDEOS using an app called iSwifter (without jail-breaking it).

I agree with the app idea but I do not think they will take the initiative to create it. What needs to happen is someone not affiliated with the staff here needs to make an app that does a lot of what people want and once that is successful maybe they will notice and either pick it up and have the develop work on it more or make one for themselves. I have seem that happen a lot where an unofficial app gets so popular that the site/company/etc the app is for picks it up or makes one of their own.
There is an app (for Android) specifically for the Toonzone Forums, I wonder if this could be researched and implimented for the FUNI forums as well. That would be a great thing since I usually use my phone to check up on things as it stands and this site loads even slower than the last FUNi forum site did.
