I understand you no longer have the rights to when they cry, but we where still using that section a lot, and would really appreciate having our place to talk about higurashi and umineko back. I know a lot of it was funi please get rai but, a lot of us really liked that section, also there really is not a great place for us to talk about it. you could have at least transferred a majority of the threads over to another section.

Funimation no longer has the rights to Higurashi, therefore they can no longer have a section dedicated to it. However you are free to start a Higurashi disscusion thread in the Anime section.

I haven't deleted any Higurashi threads and there's no reason why it can't be discussed in General Anime like any other titles unlicensed by FUNi. What was the URL?

You are free to discuss When They Cry and other shows that are not FUNimation's in the anime forum. Your thread may have been deleted accidentally. Please recreate it if you have not already done so.
The forum was experiencing some major issues at one point. That could have easily led to such an event.
This title is one of the many lost ones. Sad too, was hoping for a completion of Kyo Kara Maoh!, and Fate/stay Night is a series right up Funimation's alley. The Universal merger with Geneon didn't exactly help matters either.
To note, Funimation still has titles liisted on the forums such as: Gun X Sword, Samurai Champloo, Chobits, Vandread, The Familiar of Zero, Black Lagoon, Gungrave, Fate/stay Night, and Disgaea. All of which are previous Geneon titles.
Though The Familar of Zero, Black Lagoon, and Fate/stay Night are all out of print.
If the thread is gone, start a new one!

Not all former Geneon USA titles are equal - the ones that were part of the original distribution agreement (which all went OOP at the end of last year) are more at risk than the ones that FUNimation license rescued later.
