Alright, I went back a year looking for similar topics, so forgive me if I missed something.
The video player and the pages that display it need serious work. Note that I'm referring to the subscriber player, not embedded Hulu videos.
- The progress bar on the player needs to display times (and preferably screencaps) when you mouseover it.
- On a similar note, clicking around the progress bar doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to move your mouse off the player and back on before it will register.
- Clicking links in the content section of the page (in general, anything other than menus at the top or bottom) should never cause the video to reload. Either load stuff dynamically or open a new window.
- The site seems to refuse to load the player until other scripts on the page have finished. Whether this is a bug or a design flaw, I don't know. But it means things like Ad-Block and NoScript, as well as "do not track me" options in several browsers, have to be disabled to use the site. This is with funimation.com whitelisted. I'm happy to pay for your service, and I understand the need for ad revenue from non-subscribers. However, while I'm logged into a paid account I shouldn't need to allow scripts from doubleclick and other third-party sites to use your player.
