When I heard there were going to be new forums (And a new site), I actually cringed as I had already lived through the disaster at the PlayStation.com forums in December.
To make a very long story short about what happened there, they switched from Lithium (Something like this.[adult swim] Boards) to this (Jive). http://community.us.playstation.com/index.jspa
The day of the switch, there were posting errors all over the place, people getting lost, and just plain giving up. There was loads of really negative feedback everywhere. Traffic dropped signicantly, and to think years ago, the place used to have so much traffic, people had a hard time keeping up.
I would like to say, really nice job FUNi.
You did a great job with this transition (A way better job than SCEA.), and I would like to thank you for that.

I'm really enjoying the new site. Lots of new stuff to toy around with. Got worried since it took some time to finish. But funi pulled through to bring out somthing great yet again.
Awsome job funi
I reject your reality and replace it with my own.
Same, this new site is just great. Everything is pretty organized, and the forum is integrated into the site instead of just being a seperate part.
Guess them delaying the launch pulled off.
I'm known by a different username on every forum I'm on.

Wow. Thanks.
You have no idea how much that means to us. Though we're far from where we'd like to be we're working really hard to make sure that the forum continues to improve.
People potentially getting lost was why I changed the sections of the old forum to match with the new one long before the beta was ready. So, even if the new forum was broken, users would at least know where to go.
